Student Doctor Corey Shy is a rising fourth-year medical student at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Corey was recently nominated to the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society, a distinction that recognizes budding physicians for their “humanistic clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service”. Among his various campus involvements, Corey also served on the Planning Committee for AMEC 2016 (SNMA). His professional interests include Internal Medicine, particularly Gastroenterology, and long term aspirations of a career in academic medicine.
